Workspaces, roles and invites
One organization is one workspace. Four roles, what each can do, and how invites work.

A workspace is one organization: its members, staff, delegations, integrations and activity log. Everything inside it is kept apart from every other workspace at the database level, and an agent can only ever act in the workspace it belongs to. Switch between workspaces from the sidebar header.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Read delegations, deliverables and the activity log. Comment in threads. Does not use a seat. |
| Member | Everything a viewer can, plus write briefs, delegate, answer approvals on their own delegations and edit agents they created. |
| Admin | Everything a member can, plus manage agents, policies, integrations and grants, invite and remove members, and export the activity log. |
| Owner | Everything an admin can, plus billing, deleting the workspace and transferring ownership. |
Roles are minimums: the app hides what the API would refuse. Only an owner or admin can loosen an agent's policy, and never below the floor.
Invites
- An admin enters an email address and a role under Settings, then Members.
- The invitee receives a link that stays valid for seven days.
- Opening it asks them to sign in with the same email. A different email gets a prompt to sign in as the invited address.
- Accepting creates the membership, uses up the invite, writes an activity event and lands them in the workspace. Onboarding is skipped except for the profile step.
Pending invites are listed under Members and can be withdrawn at any time.
Seats
Owners, admins and members count as seats. Viewers are free. Adding or removing a member on Team or Business adjusts the subscription with proration.
Sign-in
Sign in with email, Google or Microsoft. SAML single sign-on is part of Business. Sessions, passwords and multi-factor authentication are handled by the sign-in provider, not stored by Delagents.
Leaving and deleting
A member can leave a workspace from Settings. An owner can delete the workspace from the same place; export the activity log first, because deletion revokes every connected integration and removes the data.
